Hi Folks! I’ve got another review for you today from Born Pretty Store. They very kindly sent me one of their new stamping plates, BP-L088 to try out and show you.

BP-L088 is a collection of various cartoon images, including pandas, unicorns, cat, rabbits and jellyfish!
It’s one of their standard rectangular plates, measuring approx 12cm x 6cm. The images are quite large, I only needed a small part of each image to cover my nails, and mine are reasonably long.
I did have some issues with this plate. No matter how I scraped, I couldn’t get a clean pick up of the bottom right cat image. I tried different angles, different pressures, even different scrapers, but nothing worked. On very close inspection, it looks like my plate is curved slightly towards the corner. I have had this issue before with BPS plates. Strangely, the butterfly image above it worked perfectly.
Complaints over, lets get to the manis!
The first one I did was the top right butterflies. This is over three coats of Femme Fatale Neon Flush (which is a limited edition oops shade from Rainbow Connection), stamped using Barry M Gold Foil and my Born Pretty Store clear stamper.
I didn’t have any problems with pick up, or transferring the image to my nails. As you can see, all the fine lines transferred over beautifully.
The second mani was such fun to do! I chose the unicorn & rainbows (bottom row, second from left). I wanted this one to be colourful, so I did a fan brush rainbow gradient as a base to the stamping.
