Hello lovely folk! The Nail Crazies Unite challenge has started up again for the next year which is nice, I do enjoy these relaxed one mani every other week challenges. I can just about keep up, most of the time! The first prompt is neutral colours, so I’ve picked a pretty neutral metallic and jazzed it up with some double stamping.
What I used:
(* affiliate links)
- *Barry M Pink Ice
- Essence Stampy white
- Essence Stampy black
- MoYou London pro 04 stamping plate
- *Born Pretty Store clear stamper
- *Liquid latex
- Glisten & Glow topcoat
I started with two coats of Pink Ice (originally released as a Superdrug Limited Edition called Twinkle Twinkle), which is a gorgeous metallic pale pink with gold and silver shimmer. I really do like the whole Molten Metals range, I think Barry M hit a winner with those! Here it is before I stamped over it:
Although pink isn’t normally a neutral, I think the gold and silver bits in it make it lean more neutrally to me. Especially against my skin tone.
I decided to double stamp some flowers over it, using MoYou London Pro 04 plate. This is quite an old plate, and unfortunately I think it shows – the quality of the etching is nothing like that of say, Uberchic or even the new Born Pretty plates. The flowers don’t really have much detail to them.
