Hello lovely people! Another challenge mani to show you today – this week it is the turn of the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge. The prompt today is dotting tools, but not just dots. Definitely a prompt that is open to many interpretations! I decided to take it as needing some other form of nail art apart from dots, so I’ve added dots to a stamped design.
What I Used:
* Affiliate Links
- *Rimmel Pillow Talk (pastel blue creme)
- *Rimmel Daisy Days (yellow creme)
- MoYou London Prom Queen (fuchsia stamping polish)
- MoYou London Cool Pool (blue stamping polish)
- *Pueen 52 stamping plate
- *Born Pretty Store clear stamper
- Dotting tool
- Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat
I wanted a fairly wide spaced stamped design so that I had space to add the dots afterwards. I chose the triangles from the center of Pueen 52 as they had nice big gaps, and were also big enough to fit my thumb nails! I think I used Cool Pool for the stamping – though my bottle is labelled Turquoise Mint it is definitely blue. I’ve also got a green stamping polish labelled Cool Pool so who knows.
The dots were added using a smallish dotting tool. I’m not a fan of dotting tools – though I love to see other people’s dotticures, I find them hard to use as my hands are shaky. The joys of getting older!
I’m using a new camera from now on – still getting used to all the settings so apologies if things look a little washed out! Think I’ve over exposed these a bit, they are much more vibrant in real life.

See you soon!
