Hi! So, I’m cheating a bit for this Nail Crazies Unite challenge entry. The prompt is neon – I’m really not a neon girl. I’m only getting time to do my nails a couple of times a week at the moment, and I didn’t want to be stuck wearing a mani I don’t like, so I’m pulling one out of the photo backlog! I’ll start doing them again properly soon!
So, here are my neon nails.
They are neon, I promise! The stamping tones it down a lot. And look, old nail shape!
What I used:
- Maybelline Bleached Neon Coral Heat
- Barry M Pink Iridescent (pink shimmery glitter topper)
- MoYou London Beach House (blue stamping polish)
- UR Beautiful 13 stamping plate
- HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat
I used two coats of Coral Heat, then added a coat of Pink Iridescent for a touch of glitter. I added the stamping using my trusty Born Pretty Store clear stamper, and topcoated with G&G.
These really did look brighter in real life, my camera doesn’t like neons much (just like it’s owner). The close up shot looks much brighter though:
There you go – how to tone down neon nails, haha!
Check out more neon nails below from the rest of the Nail Crazies Unite group, I’m sure theirs are much brighter than mine!
See you soon,
