Yay, the sun has arrived! It properly feels like spring now. I love this time of year, when the flowers start to bloom and the trees start turning green again. Having said all that, I have a totally non-springlike mani to show you today. Follow me after the break!
I wanted to try some double stamping, where you stamp the same image twice on each nail, but everso slightly offset. It requires some accuracy, and so is a challenge!
What I used:
Kiko 479 (light taupe with gold shimmer)
MoYou London White Knight (white stamping polish)
MoYou London Black Knight (black stamping polish)
HK Girl Glisten & Glow (topcoat)
Bundle Monster BM-XL206 stamping plate
I started with three coats of Kiko shade 479 (why no names? Why??) and then stamped my designs in black. I then went back and restamped in white, trying to offset the design a fraction. It was hard enough doing this with a see-through stamper, I’d have no hope otherwise! I completely missed on my thumb, don’t know what happened there!
I think it worked quite well though, I really liked the finished effect! My right hand ended up even neater, unusually, but as I can’t manage to take a photo of my right hand you’ll have to put up with my left.
Until next time,
