Frosty glitter gradient

Hello! A nice simple, but very effective mani today that drew a lot of compliments when I wore it!

Polishes used:

OPI Miss Piggy’s Big Number (metallic blue)
OPI Muppets World Tour (silver, gold & blue glitter)
INM Out The Door (topcoat)

I started with 3 coats of Miss Piggy’s Big Number. It’s quite thin, so takes a little building up but  ends up the most beautiful luminous sapphire blue. Unfortunately it also takes a while to dry, and I dinged a couple of nails before I’d finished, thankfully the glitter hid the damage!

I wanted to create a frosty effect, so I brushed Muppets World Tour to the tips of my nails, fading it out to make a gradient. I could have done it with a sponge, but that meant mess and I was in a hurry.

My photos don’t really do this justice – the blue really looks like it glows, its such a beautiful metallic polish and I adore the colour. No staining issues to report either! (I did use a base coat) And the glitter is soooo sparkly!

Does blue count as festive? Maybe more of a new years look.

I picked up these polishes as a duo-pack from TK Maxx for £5! Bargain 🙂

🎵 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… 🎵 (OK I’ll stop singing)

Love,
Jo x
